Maranello – Shell will continue to work with Ferrari Formula 1 team. Prancing horse team had just extended the contract with Shell to five years into the future.
“The extension of our cooperation contract with Shell until 2015 is one part of an effort to strengthen the team in the future,” said Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicali as quotted by Crash.net, Friday (26/3/2010).”We are optimistic that with this partnership because Shell is the world’s leading companies,” continued Domenicali.
“Shell is always with Scuderia since 1929 and has an important role in our success. Experience and cooperation is what makes us like it. This is a unique collaboration in the racing world, “explained Domincali.
This contract extension announcement also coincided with the celebration of Ferrari who had performed 450 times in F1 with Shell. Until now, the duo Ferrari – Shell has produced 22 world titles and -10 constructors and 12 drivers, won the 154 race.
