F1′s security car rules will be tainted forward of the 2009 period, the FIA has complete, following a successful adversity of new software during last spice.

“The pronounce introduced in 2007 was a bad one, and we’ve spent back to the 2006 F1 regulations,” said FIA technical allocate Charlie Whiting. “The only difference are we expect to execute a lowest time back to the depths. When we deploy the safety car, the point will go to all the cars, which will then have a “safety car” kind on their ECUs. As shortly as that message gets to the car, it’ll know where it is on the trail, and it’ll analyze a lowest time for the driver to get back to the depths. The driver will have to matter this and the information will be displayed on his console.”
“If you reminisce, the logic we stopped the pit opening was to detach the incentive for the driver to come back to his pit instantly,” he added. “That’s departed now, as you won’t be able to grasp the pits any faster than your dash display allows you to.”
